Sunday Service message kick started praying for GNA Ministries. The message itself was on Rebuilding the Temple based on 1 Chronicles 28 & 29 looking at the original temple, how it was destroyed and rebuilt.
THE ORIGINAL TEMPLE
God chose the man for the job:
1 Chr 28 2-6 & 2 Sam 7:1-11:David had it in his heart to build but God said no, it should be Solomon. Not every good idea is God idea. I pray during this time we will know clearly the mind of God for the ministry and for each one to identify and abide in their calling.
Condition for success:
1 Chr 28:7-9: Solomon was assured success if he observes and obey God’s commandment. We also are assured of success if we observe and obey God according to Joshua 1:8
Blueprint and Strategy for the Ministry:
1 Chr 28:11-13, 19: David gave the building plans to his son, the plan was from God. We need to have God’s strategy and plan for building the ministry if we are to succeed.
Provision for the Vision:
1 Chr 28:14-18, 1 Chr 29:1-3, 6-9, 20: Solomon received resources from his father, the leaders and the people. They gave willingly to the house of the Lord. We trust God to bless us with resources to carry out the ministry.
The building was completed:
2 Chr 7:11: Solomon finished the building. I pray the anointing to finish what God has committed into our hands will rest upon us. Jesus said my meat is to do the will of Him that sent me and to finish it
DESTRUCTION OF THE TEMPLE
2 Kings 25:9, 2 Kings 24:2-4, 13 God pronounced judgement when Israel sinned and they were taken captive by the king of Babylon, the king took away the treasures from the temple and the temple was burnt. When we sin, we open the door for the enemy to mess us up, Samson lost his sight and vision because of lust and recklessness, Israel was defeated by the small country of AI because Achan sinned Josh 7:10-13,21,25. The whole camp could not move forward. This shows that as much as a leader can make the ministry to miss it, so can members. I pray during this season we will search our hearts and confess any area we have been party to the work of the Lord not progressing.
RESTORATION OF THE TEMPLE
Jer 29:10-14:Jeremiah received the word of the Lord that his people will be visited and they will go back to their country. Our God is a God of mercy who forgives and gives us second chance.
Birthing the Vision
Dan 9:1-6, 17-19:Daniel prayed and interceded to see the vision come to pass. We need to pray through to see the vision and prophetic utterances come to pass. Paul encouraged Timothy to wage a good warfare with the prophecies that he had received. As soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth Is 66:8
Provision for the Vision
Ezra 1, 1-5 The lord stirred the heart of the king to initiate the building of the temple and allow people to go to Jerusalem to commence building, God will raise who ever to accomplish His purpose. The heart of the kings is in His hands to turn whichever He wants.
Ezra 1:7 The king restored all the things that was taken from the house of the lord
Ezra 4 Whilst building, the people were intimidated, ridiculed and discouraged, they even suspended the work for a while but in Ezra 5:1-2, Prophets came to help to kick start the rebuilding. Devil doesn’t like anything good and will do whatever to disrupt the plans of God but if God be for us who can be against us. Ezra 6:the king gave support and covering all expenses. In times of trouble I believe God will send physical and spiritual help to GNA ministries in Jesus name.
The building was completed
Ezra 6:14. The temple was built and finished. Again the prophets were with them at the end still prophesying. The process of building the temple was initiated, sustained and completed by God . We pray that at every stage of the development of GNA ministries, the word and agenda of the Lord will prevail.
Till next week,
