It is time we allow the Lord to remove the mask that has stopped families from enjoying the victory that Jesus died to give to us. God has not prepared any defeat for your family. The source of all works of darkness is the Devil. It is important that we do not spend our time and energy fighting our husbands, wives and children.
The enemy likes to hide behind the smoke screens which he has used for ages- blame others, hit yourself on the head for your inadequacies but do not deal with the source of the problem – the war against the kingdom of God in your family.
Today, I pray the Lord will wake us up to face the attack on our families, by using the weapon that he has given us to destroy all the works of darkness. Let us rise up with the weapon of prayer, praise, worship, faith and thanksgiving.
I decree that the anointing of God on our families will cause us to advance and see the kingdom of God established in every area of our lives today. Our children shall be taught of God and great will be their peace.
Amen Sister Nkechi,
I thank God for your life and comment. It is true, it is so easy to deal with things in the physical than engage in spiritual warfare because you can see the person and what they are doing but you can’t see the devil instigating them to behave badly. One can talk to someone till you are blue in the face and they may even promise change so that you can get off their case but unless their mindset, convictions, philosophies of life actually changes, their behaviour will remain the same and the cycle of talk, talk continues. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.
2 Cor 10:4 says the weapons of ourfare are not carnal but mighty through God to pulling down of stronholds, casting down arguments and everything that exalt itself against the knowledge of God. I pray we will continue to tap into the Grace of God to help us to interceed to see the kingdom of God established in our homes. We also need each other as prayer partners for support when one person is growing tired or weary, to keep going and not to give up. Victory is ours in Jesus name.
